Mindfulness is becoming a global movement with the potential to transform our thoughts, our lives and society. Mindfulness and meditation practices are increasingly wide-spread, not just in Yoga, but also fitness programs and healthcare. Mindfulness practices are now being recommended and prescribed by physicians and therapists.

Studies show that interest in mindfulness is growing rapidly.

  • Research increasingly shows the effectiveness of Mindfulness to support physical and mental health.

  • 1 in 10 adults report meditating at least once a week.

  • 1 in 7 US workers engage in mindfulness during their work-day.

  • The number of frequent meditators increased from 8.0% to 9.9% from ’06 -’07

These numbers continue to grow each year.
